In order to join CHECtravel a home exchange agency has to fulfill a certain number of criteria. This screening and quality control procedure provides additional guarantees and enhances trust you can have in such a member agency. For example the new page labeled "Privacy Policy" on our site was a requirement to join CHECtravel. You may also have noticed that we now strictly separate home exchange from vacation rental listings. The latter have always been hosted on a separate site, but we displayed headline and location information with links for all types of listings on the so-called country pages. Not any more!
