I live in a scenically spectacular area two hours south of the Grand Canyon in the state of Arizona, in America's southwest. There is golf and tennis in my community as well as wonderful hiking and bicycling. There are some forty art galleries and many boutiques and restaurants. I am two hours north of the city of Phoenix, a truly urban environment and 40 minutes south of Flagstaff, AZ, a typical western university town with many outdoor activities as well. There are mountains and desert here, simplicity and sophistication. There are other quaint towns in the area: Jerome and Prescott, to name two. I am about three hours from Lake Powell and thence into southern Utah. It is 5 hours to Las Vegas and Palm Springs, CA,; 7 hours to Los Angeles, CA.

My one-level home is a large two-bedroom (one double bed, one queen bed, a cot and extra bed can be made available, too) – each bedroom is 18 x 20 ft., each has an en suite bathroom – large living room (20 x 40 feet) with cathedral ceilings with a large deck outside the kitchen and living area. There are lovely views from all rooms.
